Radio Broadcast

On Saturday we were at the famous CBS studios on Wilshire Blvd. - where stations like 94.7, The Wave, and 93.1, Jack FM, are broadcast.
This time the focus was not so much on Creativity as it was on Stress Reduction.
In the current economy, many more people are suffering from stress and the many illnesses caused by stress. Of course we all know that one major cause of stress today is Financial stress. Add to that the ubiquitous Mortgage Stress with the increased Cost of Living and falling real incomes - and it is no wonder that Stress is taking its toll on everyone.
The unfortunate fact is that the more stressed we are, the less able we are to make sensible decisions that will help us improve our situation.
Bala Kanayson, our whole Mind Success workshop facilitator is an expert on Stress Reduction. In recognition of his education, training and experience, he was elected a Fellow of the American Institute of Stress headquartered in New York.
The CBS radio program resulted in a large number of calls with quite a few callers benefiting from the stress reduction methods explained on-air.Labels: American Creativity, CBS, financial stress, mortgage stress, Stress Management Seminars, stress reduction, Whole Mind

Where in the Heck are My Keys?

1492, 1776, 1865, 1969. Do any of these dates ring a bell, or is it muddled along with your PIN number, your driver's license number and your mom's birthday? You know what they say about getting older: "the first thing to go is your memory". When you consider how much we are expected to remember, is it any wonder why our memory seems to fade soon after we become full fledged adults?
Becoming an adult usually means being inundated with such "tasks" as careers, children, mortgages, utility bills, investments and a slew of other responsibilities that are compressed into a 15-20 hour day (hey, we have to sleep sometimes). Speaking of sleep, when you add the fact a majority of American adults do not get enough sleep, it's a wonder we can remember our own names sometimes.
We are overworked, overburdened and stressed-out to the hilt but that doesn't mean that we can't learn to relax. By learning to quiet your mind using Whole Mind techniques, you would be surprised how much you can remember (so our wedding anniversary is on the 15th! No wonder I get such a look from my spouse on the 16th). By entering a state of complete mental silence, you can reprogram your mind to improve your effectiveness. With the help of Whole Mind, you can remember all the important aspects of your work and your life and still have time to properly relax and get a good night sleep for a change. Well, that's one challenge of adulthood defeated, now if we can only find a cure for male pattern baldness...Labels: Stress Management Seminars, Whole Mind Success
