Those of us who have worked in large Corporations are rather skeptical of CEOs who claim to support Creativity and Innovation.
We have experienced time and again the lip service paid to *facilitating a creative environment*
Why is this the case?
Is it because most CEOs are under pressure to produce short-term results? Or are CEOs too far away from the trenches? Are some of them too old to have learned about Innovation during their MBA days? Are CEOs simply risk-averse?
The new media began when Radio broadcasts were more widely available in the 1920’s, with president Hoover calling it an Instrument of Learning and Beauty.
Then in the early 40’s we saw the growth of Television broadcasts in the USA, and eventually the 1990's made the worldwide web, the Internet, available to the public - and the new Information Age took off.
Radio has recently seen a revival, with increasing numbers of people listening to programs on the internet. In fact recent surveys report that one in three people now listen to the radio via the internet.
The internet, of course, is also a great resource for Education and Training. The number of students doing on-line degrees has risen, and nearly 4 million students have taken at least one on-line course.
Whole Mind Success is also offering some of its methods on-line. We will be helping to develop a Creativity curriculum as part of a new Global Learning website.
We expect that this will provide the opportunity for many more people in our international community to learn practical methods to increase their creativity - and to do so whenever they choose, 24 hours a day throughout the year.
Louis Pasteur, the French scientist said "chance favors only the prepared mind". So, your mind has to be prepared before you can have those creative "ah-ha" moments.
Which confirms what we say: "Know your craft well, then use our Whole Mind methods to release your Creativity"
Anyone can use the techniques taught in Whole Mind Success seminars to:
Balance your left and right Brain Access your subconscious Mind Enter the creative womb of Silence
Creative problem solving is the process of finding a unique solution to any problem. It is a process in which a solution is actually created by the individual, and not learned from someone else.
Whole Mind Success seminars have helped to increase the creative problem-solving skills of engineers and artists, athletes and scientists, students and professors.
These creative problem solving techniques will:
1. Shift a person's mental state into one that nurtures creativity.
2. Help them reframe the problem
3. Increase their supply of new ideas
4. Present fresh perspectives which often lead to elegant solutions
