Whole Mind Success - Efficacy Verified
Posted: Monday, October 13, 2008

The efficacy of Whole Mind Success methods continue to be verified at National Universities using Brain Imaging with fMRIs and EEG - here is a recent report.
Neuroscientists at the University of Wisconsin using the university's new $10 million W.M. Keck Laboratory for Functional Brain Imaging and Behavior used EEG to compare the brain activity of subjects practicing one of the techniques which is also taught in Whole Mind Success seminars. They found that the practitioners showed high amplitude gamma waves - generally associated with attention, conscious perception, and learning.
Experienced practitioners also had increased gamma wave activity while not actually practicing the technique, indicating that it probably causes permanent changes to brain activity. Is Violent behavior Caused by a Gene?

In a landmark longitudinal study in New Zealand that followed the lives of about 500 men from infancy to about age 26, a significant subpopulation showed a strong and unmodifiable disposition to engage in antisocial behavior, including irrational and self-destructive violence. Genetic analysis revealed that most of the men in that subpopulation carried a mutation for a particular enzyme, monoamine oxydase A (MAOA).
These findings are preliminary, and further research is needed on the exact nature of the effect of this mutation.

Whole Mind Success and Creativity

As many Corporate training directors will confirm, Whole Mind Success can and has increased Creativity in hundreds of people over the past 20 years.
Our methods are very different to the commonly accepted ideas of "creativity enhancement"
Instead of working externally, we actually change the internal structure of the brain. This results in the growth of new neural circuits in our brains and increases the number of connections between neurons.
The end result is a significant, measurable increase in Creativy and the development of New Skills.
What has been working for over 20years has only recently been confirmed by improved technology. fMRIs actually show the new circuits and neuronal connections - Science has caught up with Fact.

What is Creativity?

"Creativity, it has been said, consists largely of re-arranging what we know in order to find out what we do not know." - George Kneller
Of course we also think of creativity as discovering, or doing something NEW and UNIQUE
As we have said in our Whole Mind Success seminars:
Creativity is a Mental Process which involves - The Generation of New Ideas or Concepts - New Associations between Existing Ideas and Concepts
and what recent discoveries in Neuroscience tell us is that: Creativity can actually be developed by using various techniques - many of which are taught in our Whole Mind Seminars.Labels: be creative, becoming creative, Creativity, developing creativity, discovery, how to be creative, Innovation, neuroscience, new concepts, new ideas

Can Dementia be Prevented?
Posted: Friday, September 5, 2008

Cognitive research clearly indicates that deliberately taxing the brain and forcing seniors to work at complex rasks helps delay the onset of Dementia.
More recently, there are some who are finding evidence that Dementia can actually be prevented.
Some of the methods used are similar to techniques taught at Whole Mind Success seminars.
It thus appears likely that in addition to increasing your Creativity and Productivity, Whole Mind Success will help prevent the onset of Dementia - and allow us to lead a productive life at any age.Labels: ageing brain, aging brain, creative seniors, Creativity, dementia prevention, old age, older adults, prevent dementia

A Healthy Brain - Avoiding Dementia

Old age and dementia need not be synonymous.
As we age, we can, and should, maintain an alert mind.
A strong memory, analytical abilities and mental dexterity are the reward of using Whole MInd Success methods regularly throughout our lives.
Today's fMRIs show us the increased neural connections and the development of new neural circuits in our brains - when we "exercise" our brains regularly.
We all deserve to grow old with continued good physical and mental health. Old age is NOT synonymous with dementia.
